Key Features

  • Build Quality
The achievement of a flexible but strong structure is possible with Wood Core, the sintered base (that joins the board particles really close), and the enhanced flex pattern. The wakeboard endurance and adaptation fits the requirements of riders with intermediate to advanced skill level.
  • Design
The key to controlled smoothness and quick response is given by the continuous rocker, urethane sidewalls, and the full-length rail channels throughout the wakeboard. A daring and strong contrast between green, black, and grey, along with the wood texture, creates a unique identity for this wakeboard.
  • Bindings
Regarding the bindings for this product, we recommend all those that fit with the stance range specifications.

Hyperlite 2020 Ripsaw Wakeboard

This 2020 model has several similarities with the 2021 model. The variable thickness profile also allows for better water smoothness and energy absorption in and out the wakes. The combination of the wood core, sintered base, and flex pattern make a tough and versatile wakeboard. Sometimes the impacts can affect the table structure. A difference with the 2021 version is the ABS sidewall, which gives more endurance for all performed transitions by riders. Another difference is the narrower stance width, which was created to increase the wakeboard’s control. The high contrast between pastel colors and black create a more sporty character to the wakeboard.

Final thoughts / Conclusion

Ripsaw 2020, 2021 & 2022 models are similar regarding overall performance. Ripsaw 2020 gives us a narrower stance width that improves the time response during transitions. Also, the strong impacts are absorbed better with the ABS sidewall. The Ripsaw 2021 & 2022 has full-length center channels that do a great job while approaching features on the cable park. This is important in wakeboarding tournaments.
