Ski Chaste is a man made lake, which was built over 25 years ago. The lake itself was born out of the dream of J.R.Henley who was born and raised in South Alabama. J.R’s dream was to build a tournament water ski lake on the river delta area, that had a high enough standard to host yearly tournaments. As well as being a recreational lake, there are also 12 homes on the ski lake which creates a sense of community, that is welcoming of both water skiing and wakeboarding. The Alabama Water Ski Federation consider Ski Chaste lake to be one of their finest water ski lakes in the state, laying claim to being a frequent host of the Alabama State Water Ski Championships.

Lymanland lake has been known as a water skiers dream. It was built as a man made lake over 20 years ago in Duncanville, Alabama by Lyman Hardy and regularly hosts water skiing tournaments. Hardy is a national director and holds a post on the Southern Regional Council of American Water Ski Association. The lake itself is approximately half a mile long, 8 foot deep and the size of a football field wide, with small islands at the end for the boat to turn. These islands on the lake act as water breakers for the waves, as you turn back to run the slalom course again, the water will be flat.

Jeff provides training in three event tournament water skiing, and has produced many national and world level professional water skiers over the years.

Mike has been giving water ski lessons as well as wakeboard, barefoot, wakesurf and wakeskate lessons on lake Lake Tuscaloosa in Northport, Alabama for over 10 years.
